Evening Care Groups

We all agree that we must value relationships in our life.  Yet, the society in which we live does not lend itself to taking the time to develop them.  Care Group is an opportunity for you to prioritize developing significant relationships, your relationship with Christ and each other.

On behalf of our church family, thank you for taking the time to visit Care Groups on our web page. Our hope is that you will extend to us the privilege of attending one in person.

Each Care Group meets twice a month with the goal of nurturing authentic relationships, encouraging spiritual growth, and applying Biblical principles in an effort for its attendees to become more Christ-like.  The focus of these groups is to apply Biblical truth to real life issues through group discussion and accountability.  These groups are not designed to be a Bible study but a place where Biblical community is nurtured.

Our mission is to develop groups which will fulfill the great command (Matt. 22:37-39) and the great commission (Matt. 28:19-20) through their relationships with each other and those who are unconnected from Christ and /or a church.  Each Care Group maintains it’s focus, balance, and movement on four essential wheels: Upward (a passion for intimacy for Christ), Inward (love one another in order to feel safe enough to embrace transformation), Outward (penetrate the lost world…Go), and Forward (Discipling new believers, mentoring new leaders, and launching new groups).

How to join a Care Group

Each Care Group leader is trained to allow you to choose the group which fits you.  So how do you begin to find the group that is best for you?  First, contact

Ray Biggerstaff (Care Group Huddle Leader) or Dolan D. Williams (Associate Pastor). You will put you in contact with a group that could be a possible fit for you.  Then give it a try!  If this group does not seem to fit you, there will be another group in which you could visit.  Continue this process until you find one that fits.
