Mark Whitfield , Senior Pastor

 

Pastor Mark Whitfield is a gifted communicator and teacher with a passion for speaking practical, relevant messages that equip and inspire. He is the lead pastor and responsible for leading all the staff and ministries of Pikeville Church.

 

He and his family have returned home to Wayne County from Crossroads Ministries in Broadway NC; where he and his wife, Tracy, served the last 11 years.  Pastor Mark served as Executive Pastor overseeing the ministries of Crossroads as well as Discipleship and Leadership development.  Tracy served in the role of Events & Volunteer Coordinator.  During their time at Crossroads Ministries, pastor Mark and Tracy were instrumental in helping Crossroads grow from a church in average attendance of 150 to over 600.

 

 

Pastor Mark and Tracy have a strong passion for marriages, families, and a focus on connecting people with purpose in the body of Christ.

 

Pastor Mark is a graduate of Emmanuel College and Erskine Theological Seminary.

 

Pastor Mark and Tracy were married on June 21, 1997. They have two girls, Taylor and Kristen. Pastor Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and girls, farming, sports, fishing, and hunting.
