Freedom

The more we allow Christ to live through us, the more we will be lead by His Holy Spirit.  We do not need more of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit needs more of us.  It is the Spirit of God which lives through us that breaks the bondage of sin in our lives. We become victorious through Christ living in us and through us.  Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.  Freedom to be what we were created to be.  More like Christ.

FREEDOM

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom”

Romans 7

14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.

15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.

21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

25 Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!  So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Romans 8

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.

19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to purpose
