Become What You Believe
BECOME WHAT YOU BELIEVE
Matthew 9:27 - 29
"Without faith it is impossible to please God," Hebrews 11:6 NIV
Your faith determines what you do, what you say, what you experience, and what you get out of life.
Graduates are launching into uncharted waters. You need God to do things you cannot do for yourself.
1. The Vacancy in Your Life Is a Call to Start Living In Faith
The vacancy in these men's lives was obvious, they were blind.
If you can't fill your vacancy by your strength expect God to do something about it.
Remind yourself, God is in control, He loves you, and wants to provide for you.
2. God Responds To Your Faith
Jesus asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord," the replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you." Matthew 9:28-29 NIV
They received sight because they had faith.
"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:22 NIV
"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will be move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20-21 NIV
To what kind of faith does God respond?
A. Begins with an attitude of expectation.
"Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark." UNK
B. Faith includes corresponding actions.
Each person Jesus healed put themselves in a position to be on the receiving end of a miracle.
C. Looks for ways to demonstrate your faith.
Understand that God responds to your faith.
3. You Can Only Go As Far As Your Faith Is Strong Enough To Take You.
"Do you really believe I can do this?" They said, "Why yes, Master!" He touched their eyes and said, "Become what you believe." Matthew 9:28-29 The Message

Decide now to put your faith in God especially in the areas of your greatest need.
